Graduating May 2020 Major: Animation Minors: Computer & Information Technology, Music History & Theory

Matthew Rausch

I’m a 3D Character Animator and accomplished musician. After graduation I’m hoping to find a job in the entertainment industry. My interests are specific to animation within games and movies.

Since 2012, I have been using 3D Animation software, starting with Source Filmmaker. Over the years, I have entered the Saxxy Awards, an international animation contest, and have gained several million views on my YouTube channel.

Now that I’m at Purdue, I am now well versed in Maya and other 3D softwares such as Blender and Houdini. Thanks to Purdue, I have a great understanding of the entire production pipeline that goes into games and animation. I hope to share the senior project that I’m working on soon!
